Beautiful, functional, and elegant homes are few and far between. Palo Verde Homes builds throughout the El Paso region but is concentrated in three main areas including Horizon City, Santa Teresa, and the City of El Paso. Each of these offers a different environment, but each one has its own characteristics and benefits. Within El Paso city limits, there are plenty of options to choose from including westside and eastside, both of which offer different amenities, shopping centers, schools, and more. We thought we’d take a look at some of the growing aspects of these communities and explore what makes them great places to live, raise a family, and purchase a home.
Looking at Horizon City
Horizon City is a growing town located on the eastside of El Paso County, Texas. It is a burgeoning and expanding community but is still more of a rural community with bigger land properties, neighborhoods that are further apart, and less traffic. Census date indicates that the town has considerable population growth since 2010. At the same time, there is growing infrastructure and communities in surrounding area, including development, shopping centers, and more are making the area a very popular place in the county. The area of Eastlake is a popular and new community garnering a lot of attention due to its new infrastructure, parks, bike lanes, and the success of the surrounding schools. Building a home in Horizon City still offers a certain amount of rural qualities and is less populated and congested than the city of El Paso. If you’re looking for a growing small town feel, Horizon might be the place for you. Mission Ridge is a community located on Eastlake Blvd which is also showing incredible promise of growth with the Eastlake Marketplace, hospitals, and more. Horizon City is only a few minutes drive from El Paso, where there is more entertainment and events happening.
