The Issue With Model Homes
Model homes, much like the ones we build at Palo Verde Homes, are a great way for builders to showcase their products. You can walk through the home, inspect everything, and use the furnishings in the home to get ideas for yourself.
However, the issue is that people never know what’s included when they walk through a model home. This is especially an issue when the builder has installed tens of thousands of dollars worth of upgrades in the home to make it look as great and modern as possible.
Unfortunately, prospective buyers don’t always realize that these upgrades aren’t included in the standard home. Instead, they cost extra, which means the buyer may either have to blow their budget or buy a home without knowing what the standard features even are.
What We Do at Palo Verde Homes
At Palo Verde Homes, we understand this is a very real problem, and we’ve addressed it head-on. We do this through our It’s Included policy, which is to say that everything you see in our model homes is included unless otherwise stated. What Is Included in Our New Homes for Sale
Here’s a quick rundown of all the things you’ll see in our model homes that are included when you purchase it.
- Appliances – Washer, dryer, refrigerator, oven, microwave, etc.
- Countertops – Granite, quartz, concrete, etc.
- Flooring – Hardwood, bamboo, vinyl, etc.
- Any window coverings and curtains
- Plumbing fixtures – Sinks, faucets, tubs, toilets, etc.
- Mechanicals – Furnace, water heater, air conditioner, water softener, etc.
Things That are NOT Included in Our Model Homes
While we pride ourselves in not showing things that aren’t included in our model homes, we understand the power of staging. As such, there will always be a few decor and furniture items that don’t come with the home when you purchase it. However, these items are fully disclosed so that you’re well aware of what you’re getting and not getting. In general, however, here are a few things that are NOT included when you buy our new homes for sale:
- Furniture – Couches, recliners, tables, chairs, etc.
- Small electronics – TVs, computers, laptops, speakers, etc.
- Security features – Cameras, audio equipment, etc. (Available for installation upon request!)
